The previous Online Round 1 last week had a bug with the test case as well as the engineering of Hacker Cup. Hence, Facebook had to push the Online Round 1 until further notice.

However, today I received and email from Facebook, as well as the updates on Facebook Hacker Cup that Online Round 1 will commence pretty soon in a few days time.

The new dates for Online Round 1 sub-rounds and Online Round 2 are posted below:

Online Round 1

• The first sub-round will start January 22, 2011 at 18:00 UTC (10:00 AM PST) and end January 22, 2011 at 21:00 UTC (1:00 PM PST).
• The first sub-round will start January 23, 2011 at 02:00 GMT+08 and end January 23, 2011 at 05:00 GMT+8.
• The second sub-round will start January 25, 2011 at 21:00 UTC (1:00 PM PST) and end January 26, 2011 at 0:00 UTC (January 25, 2011 – 4:00 PM PST).
• The second sub-round will start January 26, 2011 at 05:00 GMT+8 and end January 26, 2011 at 08:00 GMT+8.
• The third sub-round will start January 30, 2011 at 0:00 UTC (January 29, 2011 – 4:00 PM PST) and end January 30, 2011 at 3:00 UTC (January 29, 2011 – 7:00 PM PST).
• The third sub-round will start January 30, 2011 at 08:00 GMT+8 and end January 30, 2011 at 11:00 GMT+8.

• February 5, 2011 at 21:00 UTC (1:00 PM PST) and end February 6, 2011 at 0:00 UTC (February 5, 2011 – 4:00 PM PST).
