I have finally migrated my Wordpress site hosted on Hostgator to Github running on Jekyll.

It’s pretty amazing as it’s very lightweight. Github’s version control acts as a Content Management System (CMS) to manage my content. The only drawback for an average user is the technical process of a publishing a post. It isn’t as intuitive as Wordpress nor any CMS platforms, it’s considered pretty hackish.

I’m loving my new site. I will try to blog any research or findings here. I will also try to post a quick tutorial on how to get a simple static site running on Github soon!

Stay tuned!

Cheers!
